Colonel JACK C. DECKER JR.

Colonel Decker is Commander, 101st Mission Support Group, 101st Air Refueling Wing, Bangor, Maine. He is responsible for organizing, training and equipping
more than 450 Airmen in the largest and most diverse Group of the Wing. He oversees the Logistics Readiness Squadron, Force Support Squadron, Civil
Engineering Squadron, Security Forces Squadron, Communications Flight and Contracting Office. The 101st Mission Support Group also provides operational support to maintain and sustain base infrastructure with over 70 state employees.

Prior to assuming his current position, Colonel Decker was assigned as the Inspector General, 101st Air Refueling Wing, Bangor, Maine. During this assignment, he was the principal advisor to the Wing Commander for Air Force Complaints Resolution, the Air Force Inspection System, Process Improvement and Innovation. He has also served as the Deputy Commander, 101st Mission Support Group; Commander, 101st Logistics Readiness Squadron; Executive Officer to the Adjutant General Maine; and Commander, 101st Communications Flight.

Colonel Decker received his commission from the Academy of Military Science in 2003. Prior to commissioning, he was enlisted in the United States Air Force and Maine Air National Guard as a Communications-Computer Systems Operator.
